HMS Counseling Staff
The Hopewell Counseling Department is comprised of two highly-qualified Professional School Couselors.
Mr. David Susina works with all 6th Grade students and 8th Grade (A-M)
Ms. Lisa Johnson works with all 7th Grade students and 8th Grade (N-Z).
Ms. Johnson and Mr. Susina have over 30 years of combined experience in the field of Professional School Counseling. Our committement to professional development is evidened by our membership and participation in the following professional organizations: American School Counselors Association, Georgia School Counselors Association, and the Fulton School Counselors Association.
HMS Graduation Coach
Hopewells Graduation Coach is Mr. Chris Feldman. Mr. Feldman is a former Social Studies teacher and an intregral part of the Counseling Department. Mr. Feldman works with students to ensure Academic Success; setting goals and maintaining good behavior choices that will lead to success in the classroom. Mr. Feldman additionally assists with the 8th grade Georiga Career Information lesson, meets with 8th grade students to help them prepare for high school and understand how high school credits are calculated and assits with the 8th grade transition activities.
Mr. Feldman chairs the 504 and RTI Committees. Mr. Feldman is very involved with student achievement hosting JAMS an afterschool program that focuses on students creative side.
